This archive gathers every venue profile in the journal. Each page covers location, the venue's style, a short history and practical visiting notes. Helios Club is independent: we do not sell tickets, take bookings or work with any venue, so these profiles are here to help you choose, not to sell you anything.

Residency theaters

For a headline artist in a room built for long runs, start with The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which opened in 2003 and seats about 4,100, and Dolby Live at Park MGM, which opened in 2016 and holds up to 6,400. Both are on the Strip, inside resorts.

Immersive

Sphere opened in September 2023 and seats 17,600 for concert residencies and immersive films. It is unlike any other room in the city.

Arenas

T-Mobile Arena is home to the Vegas Golden Knights and stages UFC, boxing and concerts. MGM Grand Garden Arena, open since the last day of 1993, is known for boxing superfights, concerts and award shows.

Stadiums and ballparks

Allegiant Stadium is the domed home of the Raiders and UNLV Rebels and hosted Super Bowl LVIII. Las Vegas Ballpark in Downtown Summerlin is a smaller, outdoor setting for Triple-A Aviators baseball.

Performing arts

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts downtown hosts Broadway tours, ballet, the philharmonic and jazz in its 2,050-seat Reynolds Hall.

How to use the profiles

Start with the kind of night you want, then compare two or three venues of that type. Capacity is a useful guide: a room of 2,050 feels very different from one of 17,600, and a stadium of 65,000 is a different outing again. Location matters too, since the Smith Center and the ballpark sit well away from the Strip resorts.

Before you go

Whichever venue you choose, check its own website for schedules, bag policy and parking, and buy only from its box office or the official outlet it names. Our safe ticket buying guide explains why. For other routes into the journal, see the venue site links page or the guides archive.
